Frequently Asked Questions

What locations are supported?

Reports are currently available for locations within the Continental United States only. The report relies on the ASOS/AWOS station network and NOAA gridded products, which provide coverage across the contiguous 48 states.

How far back can I request a report?

Reports can be generated for any date from January 2019 to present. This is determined by the availability of archived ASOS observations and HRRR model data.

What data sources does the report use?

Each report pulls from multiple government and research-grade sources: ASOS/AWOS surface observations, HRRR (High-Resolution Rapid Refresh) for atmospheric stability and inversion indicators, RTMA (Real-Time Mesoscale Analysis) for gridded surface conditions, and MRMS (Multi-Radar Multi-Sensor) for precipitation estimates.

How long does it take to generate?

Most reports are generated in 60 seconds or less. After completing checkout, you'll see a live status page while your report is built. A download link is provided on-screen and also sent to your email.

Disclaimer

This report uses publicly available data from government-certified weather stations (ASOS, AWOS), NOAA gridded analyses (HRRR, RTMA), and MRMS precipitation estimates. Observations represent conditions at the nearest reporting stations, not the exact field location. Gridded data is interpolated to the nearest grid point and may not capture hyper-local effects.

This report is for informational purposes only and does not constitute an expert meteorological opinion, legal advice, or certified weather affidavit. It has not been individually reviewed by a meteorologist. Flagging thresholds are based on general herbicide label guidelines and may not reflect specific product requirements.
