Description

Ag Wx Alerts delivers automated SMS weather alert messages to your mobile phone. Alerts are triggered by National Weather Service (NWS) warnings and watches for locations you have saved in your account. Alert types include Tornado Warnings, Severe Thunderstorm Warnings, Flash Flood Warnings, Tornado Watches, Flood Watches, Freeze Warnings, Extreme Heat Warnings, and Hurricane Warnings.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on weather conditions at your saved locations. During active weather, you may receive multiple messages in a short period. During quiet weather, you may receive no messages for extended periods. Typical frequency is 0–10 messages per week, but severe weather outbreaks may result in higher volumes.

Message & Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Consult your wireless carrier’s pricing plan for details. Ag Wx Alerts does not charge per-message fees beyond your subscription cost.

Opt-Out

You can stop receiving SMS alerts at any time by replying STOP to any message from Ag Wx Alerts. You will receive a one-time confirmation message. You may also disable alerts from your Alerts Dashboard or by contacting us at [email protected].

Consent

By providing your phone number and checking the consent box during the Ag Wx Alerts subscription process, you expressly consent to receive automated SMS weather alert messages at the phone number you provide. Consent is not a condition of purchase, but is required to receive SMS alerts. You may subscribe to Ag Wx Pro without providing a phone number.

Supported Carriers

Ag Wx Alerts supports major US carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and most regional carriers. Service may not be available on all carrier networks or in all coverage areas.

Privacy

Your phone number is stored securely and used solely for delivering weather alerts. We do not sell, share, or rent your phone number to third parties. SMS messages are delivered via Twilio, our SMS service provider, which processes your phone number for message delivery only. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
